Man, I see in tumblr the strongest and smartest men who’ve ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation posting pics, waiting to refresh; slaves with no shirts on. Blogging has us chasing notes and nudes, working jobs we hate so we can pay for internet and food so we cake posts we don’t need [to]. We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War’s a cyber war… our Great Depression is our blogs. We’ve all been raised on tumblr to believe that one day we’d all be million-note-aires, and text post gods, and tumblr famous. But we won’t. And we’re slowly learning that fact. And we’re very, very pissed off.
